Water pH Tracker

Not all water is the same. There are differences between tap, distilled, and natural artesian water, and you can read more about it in our blog post here. To sum it all up, tap water is often treated using harmful chemicals like chlorine, fluoride, and heavy metals. While these impurities might cause us to steer clear of tap water, most of us don’t think twice about it when filling our pet’s bowl or fish tank.

If the pH of water is too high or too low, the aquatic organisms will most likely be in danger. For that reason, we created a special assistant to keep a track on water PH levels, for all of you who are aquarium hobbyists, that are keeping fish, amphibies or corals.

As pH levels move away from this range (up or down) it can stress animal systems and reduce hatching and survival rates. The further outside of the optimum pH range a value is, the higher the mortality rates. The more sensitive a species, the more affected it is by changes in pH.

That’s why it is important to frequently monitor PH levels in your fish tank. By activating this tracker, you’ll have an option to save the data you receive from doing the water ph test and track changes in PH levels. It will help you notice if there is some pattern in the level change so you can investigate what’s the cause and take necessary action.
